Exterior Highlights

EV9 Influence

The exterior is where the EV9’s influence on the EV5 really shines in the form of its dominant profile, sculpted accents, and Kia’s signature digital tiger-faced grille for an attractive, futuristic feel. The EV5 also incorporates dramatic gloss black accents to disguise practical elements (such as the forward and rear parking sensors) for uninterrupted aesthetic and contrast sharply with Kia’s two brand new colour options: Frost Blue and Magma Red.

Aerodynamic Excellence

Glide into the future behind the wheel of a Kia EV5. With air-channelling front rear fins, pop-in door handles, and aeroblade alloy wheels for improved air flow and reduced drag, the stunning EV5 has been designed with aerodynamic performance in mind.

Interior Highlights

Packs Plenty

As expected from Kia’s EV crossover series, the Kia EV5 is a compact vehicle that includes as much cargo space as possible so you and your family can hit the road with everything you need without sacrificing your legroom. Fold the rear seats flat for some extra space, hang coats and bags from the specially-shaped backs of your front headrests, and make loading and unloading a breeze with your height adjustable and proximity based power liftgate.

Complete Control

Kia’s specialized steering wheel style makes a return with the EV5, housing media and driving controls, as well as the Drive Mode Select button. Its flat top and bottom are specifically designed to give drivers a better view of their 12.3-Inch screen with speedometer and power band display. Alongside it, a secondary 12.3-Inch screen provides conveniences such as over the air updates, Kia Connect, music, and more–simply swipe and tap to switch things up.

Performance Highlights

Don’t let your blind spots catch you by surprise; the Kia EV5 is expected to come equipped with plenty of safety and driver-assist features such as forward and rear parking sensors, a blindspot view monitor, and a forward facing camera, providing drivers with an invaluable 360 view of their vehicle at all times.

Electrifying Options

The 2025 Kia EV5 will give you an assortment of options across numerous trim levels, so you can be sure you have the compact electric SUV that best fits your needs. It will be available with either a standard 58 kWh battery, or a longer range 81 kWh battery, giving you between 400 and 600 km of overall range on a full charge. It’s also equipped with the North American Charging Standard port, making it compatible with most DC fast charging stations across the country. For drivers who are concerned about driving in the Canadian winters, the EV5 will also be available with all-wheel drive.
